SIMILARITIES:

  *The prokaryote and eukaryote uses mRNA template. 

   *In both the groups the protein synthesis occurs in the cytoplasm.

DIFFERENCES:

PROKARYOTIC TRANSLATION                                            

 *Occurs on 70S ribosomes. 

 *Adds about 20 amino acids per second ,thus faster process. 

 *mRNA is less stable .

EUKARYOTIC TRANSLATION

 *Adds about 1 amino acid per second ,thus slower process.    

 *Occurs on 80S ribosomes.   

 *mRNA is quite stable.
