SIMILARITIES:

1, Both prokaryote and Eukaryote involved in the protein synthesis process.

2,Both processes use an mRNA as their  templates.

DIFFERENCE:

1,In prokaryote translation occurs in 70s ribosomes whereas in eukaryotes translation occurs in 80s  (s- svedberg constant) ribosomes.

2,In prokaryote mRNA are polycistronic while in eukaryote the mRNA are monocistronic.

3, Continuous process in cytoplasm - Prokaryotes & Dis-continuous process in cytoplasm -Eukaryotes.
