A very basic but important difference between pro and eukaryotic translation :

In prokaryotes - the site of translation and transcription is  the cytoplasm. 

In Eukaryotes - it takes place in the nucleus. 


Similarly 

Both pro and Eukaryotes use mRNA as the template
