SIMILARITY
1.Both prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells contain genetic material in the form of DNA.
2.Both cell types have ribosomes, which are responsible for protein synthesis.
DIFFERENCE
1.In Prokaryotic cell nucleus is present in from of nucleoid. In eukaryotic cell true nucleus is present.
2.Prokaryotes have a single, circular DNA molecule located in the cytoplasm, whereas eukaryotes have multiple linear DNA molecules packaged into chromosomes within the nucleus.
3.Prokaryotic ribosomes are smaller (70S) compared to eukaryotic ribosomes (80S).
4.Prokaryotes reproduce through binary fission. Eukaryotes undergo mitosis (somatic cells) or meiosis (reproductive cells) during cell division, resulting in the production of genetically similar or diverse daughter cells.
