in prokaryotics it occurs as covalent closed circular form of dna , whereas in eukaryotes it occurs as a linear form of dna with two ends ,
in prokaryotes the size of the dna is less than 0.1pg and introns are absent in the coding region . in eukaryotes the size of the dna is high , usally more than 1 pg  and introns are present in the coding region
