1.Eukaryote as well as prokaryote translation use an mRNA template.
2.Ribosome is the protein synthesis machinery in both process.
Differences:
1.Translation is performed by 70S ribosomes in prokaryotes whereas in eukaryotes it is performed by 80S ribosomes.
2.The translation process is fast in prokaryotes but slow in eukaryotes.
