Similarities:

1.Both eukaryotes and prokaryotes use DNA as the basis of their regulation.

2.Both contain lipid bilayers.

Differences:

1.The cells of eukaryotes contain defined nucleus whereas the cells of prokaryotes have primitive nucleus.

2.Eukaryotes have larger linear chromosomes whereas prokaryotes have smaller circular chromosomes.

Prokaryotic DNA is Circular, double-stranded DNA
Eukaryotic DNA is Linear, double-stranded DNA with end.

In prokaryotes,the DNA replicates in the cytoplasm
And in Eukaryote, the DNA replicates in the nucleus
